Movie 184/1001 ~ The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

Filmed in 1962, the Man Who Shot Liberty Valance stars James Stewart and John Wayne. Ransom Stoddard (Stewart) is a lawyer travelling across the US when his carriage is attacked and robbed by Liberty Valance and his gang of thugs. Stoddard is left badly hurt in the middle of the road. Tom (Wayne) discovers the injured man and brings him to town to save him. Stewart recovers and vows to deliver justice to Liberty Valance and his gang, and refuses to be silenced or flee the town. I enjoyed the film, and it was definitely not your average western movie.
