Movie 179/1001 ~ Thelma and Louise

1991's Thelma and Louise, starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, is the classic tale of two friends who decide to let loose, break free from their mundane lives, and live it up for one weekend. However, the plan soon goes awry when one accidently commits a serious crime, and the situation begins to deteriorate quickly. I quite liked this film actually. I found it very entertaining and thought it was well written. Beyond that, it was nice to see the famous convertible scene from the end of the film. I won't spell it out here, but I think everyone knows what I mean.
