Movie 177/1001 ~ Saving Private Ryan

Saving Private Ryan is a film that was made in 1998 starring Tom Hanks & Matt Damon. It is a WWII tale in which the Ryan family loses all but one of their sons in the war, and a rescue mission is made to save the last remaining son from peril. This film is beautifully shot, with very nice special effects and an amazing ensemble cast. Clearly one of the best war movies ever made.
